"In Disney's hands"

Just called the Realtor and she said that all the paperwork has been completed and is "now in Disney's hands".

I'm assuming this is just routine paperwork type stuff since I've already paid in full and both parties have signed all documents.

Any idea how long this final process takes? Will I get some sort of welcome to DVC package from them?

Just not sure what to expect once I officially obtain my first part of DVC.

Is this ROFR time? Good luck! I've read other posters that said that they could take up to a month or longer to clear.

So....what did you wind up buying?

No, it took 47 days for ROFR (don't ask).

This is the "I sent all my $$ in, both parties have signed all the documents" part after ROFR was waived by Disney.

I ended up getting 130 pts at SSR, Dec, 4 banked points from 08, all 09 points for $9k plus closing costs.

I couldn't pass on the great deal.

That sure is a great deal! So glad you passed ROFR. Hopefully you will get your membership number quickly and can start planning!!!

If both parties have signed and you have paid basically all your are waiting on is to be added to the system.If it has been 4-5 business days go ahead and call MS. If you are in the system you can access your account and make reservations before you get all your final documents. If you are not in yet call back in about 48 hrs. A CM from MS told us that the new additions were not put in until 2pm or later.They will verify your address and SS# and if you are in the system you can make your plans on the spot. We made our first reservations 3 weeks before we recieved any type of information from DVC.

Problem is I have no idea what number to call. Also, we're not going until next May. I just wanted to get the AP before the price went up.
