I am traveling with a single mother that has a child with medical conditions. She wants to know, while we are gone, if there is an emergency, how can she be contacted?

Can anyone help me answer this question?

Thank you very much. Hopefully this will allow her to relax a little, which I might add she deserve VERY much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Firsthand report -
My DH, DS(7) and I were on the Eastern in February when we received a "ship to shore" call from my Mom regarding our other son (21) who was hospitalized. Situation was pretty critical and scary but Disney came through like a charm to get her call through to us, and knowing we had a serious emergency, we were both BEEPED with the child pager, and an announcement was made over the PM that we had to report immediately to Guest Services.
From our wait staff and hostess to the Guest Services Manager and Cast Members of the DVC (especailly Carol Ann - our angel) asked if they could be of assistance to us, etc, etc. Our waiter even brought us dinner to our room that night because we were so upset and couldn't make it though.

Fortunately, God blessed us and took care of our son while we were unable to - he is fine now and although my dear, dear Mother had it pretty rough going (73 years) trying to stay calm and keep us calm and informed. It really said a lot about Disney to have that kind of caring -

From rae519 report, it proves that Disney is a first class operation esp. on the boat!
