In and out of Fantasmic theater?

Hi: Is it OK to first go into secure seat at Fantasmic ~90 minutes prior to the show, then send one person from the group to buy and bring back some fast food? I am going in August, and am afraid if we sent my husband out, we would never see him again because of the large crowd at the theater. Has anyone done this during the peak season? Thanks in advance. -Yoko

I don't know anything about going out to get food but there is a concession stand inside the amphitheater. I am sure someone will come along with more info

I don't know if this is just a rumor or if it actually happened... I read that a family went in, got seats, then one member left the theater to do something. When that person returned, the amphitheater had reached capacity and the CM's weren't allowing anyone else in, even though the person's family were already in there.

When we went, we got seats for the family then my husband went back to the top of the amphitheater and picked up hotdogs and pretzels for me and the kids. Everything is contained right there (even restrooms) so you shouldn't have to actually leave the theatre to get something to eat.

There is a counter service restaurant just outside of the entrance (across the street) to the Fantasmic theatre. My advice is to pick up something before you go in. If it's busy season, the concession stands inside the theater will have long lines and IMHO, the selection there is quite limited anyway.

Thanks, all. A good thing I asked. We would have been just like the poor family whose dad got barred from re-entering. Does anyone know if the concession stand has chicken fingers & fries? Those are the only fast food items my DD would eat. Or I guess I have to obtain food before queing up for the show. Hmmm, the Fantasmic dinner package starts to look better and better. Pricey, though.

Several times we have gone in - sat down - and then one of us goes out to get food and bring it back in. They will let you back in if you explain the situation and if you are carrying lots of food.
