Good Morning!
Kat- vertigo again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does the Dr have any idea what triggers this in you? You suffer from this too often and I hope the Dr can find some remedy so that you do not deal with this again!
Glynis- so you had to trade off a messy house for a get-away? I'd take that messy house anyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope Timmy is better today.
Ellen- I do understand Doug. I would do the same thing
I know..........you're supposed to do what you need to do but there are times when you just need to go to a game! How is he dong otherwise? I kow that his loss was tremendous
PIO- I hope that you get your week off! I have so much trouble getting these season differences straight
We are in the Fall time here, which is my favorite time of the year. The leaves are just starting to turn and the nights are crispy. Pretty soon, as the sun goes down the air will have the smell of wood smoke.
Buddy's coworker died before he got to the hospital. I have to say that he was not a nice man but no one should die the way that he did. He had pulled his truck off to the side and was cleaning it. Those gates are over 400 pounds and it seems he was not following the procedures in place, although no one knows for sure yet. The next driver in line saw what he thought was a big bag of rags on the ground and pulled over. He discovered Joel and immediately called for help. It took a moment for him to realize that this was not a heart attack. He is having a very hard time, as are the rest of the crew working there. That big gate hit him on the side of his head and it was very disturbing. Another company has been called in to finish this job, they are not going back. Buddy said it was very quiet at work yesterday.
I asked Buddy what they are doing for his family and he was not sure yet. This guy's first words when a long time driver introduced himself on his first day at work were, "I'm not here to make friends." and he never really did. He would never contribute to the flower fund that the drivers set up. Things like that, just a lot of little mean-spirited actions. The drivers will not let his family know his reputation at work but it is ironic.
