No good can come of you telling her mother. She might appreciate it later on down the road, but for the moment I think she'll hear it as you saying bad things about her daughter, and her as a parent, since she should have known. Parents know what they want to know, and nothing more. I would use this as a way to open a dialogue with your daughter about the appropriate time for sex, protecting herself, etc.

OP here. Guess I'll just leave it a the premise that this is a young girl looking for attention, be it the wrong kind, and leave it alone.

Don't think that losing one's virginity is wrong, but at the very young age of 14, losing it is for all the wrong reasons.
