In a bind for April travel-HELP!

We are AP holders and have several trips already booked. However, I am most concerned about when we would like to go in April. April 18th thr 24th is the dates, and it looks like to stay on property, I'd have to pay rack rate ($169)a night for a value! Yikes, can't do it! Looks like I will have to stay off property-PLEASE what is the Best value without paying an arm and a leg???? Good shuttle is a must. What about the Downtown Disney hotels? Are they any good. I know ya'll are the professionals here, would appreciate any advice!

I know what you mean. We are planning on going that same week, just off a few days and its insane for a value. We will be staying at POP, but it still kills me a little inside because for what we are paying, we usually do a moderate and for longer amount of time.

I would suggest the hotels around DTD. Also, we considered Dolphin/Swan since there are so many available discounts, but it was still cheaper at a value. I would still look at them and maybe some apply to you. Good Luck.

The DTD Hilton is really nice and has good shuttle service. It's been a while but I think we got EMH's too. Also have you tried the Swan or Dolphin? They offer some good discounts to people of certain professions (teacher, nurses, others I am sure).

Hilton is very nice and you do get the EMH there. You may want to look into the Doubletree in DTD as well. You can secure decentr ates there at times and the rooms have mini kitchens as well.
