Improvements on the Wonder?

Well we're kind of thinking about a cruise next year, the 6-night Galveston to San Juan sailing Jan 4, 2016 on the Wonder. Our last cruise on the Wonder was in September 2013. I haven't kept up with DCL since then. Has the Wonder undergone a dry dock or any major improvements since Sept 2013? Just curious. Sorry if this is a repeat question :).

I don't think they have drydock until fall 2016. The major one was delayed because of problems with the Panama Canal. The new locks aren't finished and once they add the ducktail to the Wonder she won't fit in the current ones.

Ah, that makes sense. Both of our cruises have been on the Wonder and we've never done any other ship so we consider it our "home" ship :) but it would have been nice to see some other improvements. Anyway, the trip is only in speculation if I get a job I've applied for (wish me luck!) so I'm crossing my fingers all the way around :).

There have been some smaller upgrades besides the updates stateroom interior. Shutters has been renovated and now is a system of folders instead of the big phot walls. And the stateroom doors got new locks, so you don't have to swipe your card anymore, you just tap it.

:daisy::) The wonder is the best ship in the fleet. They all need upkeep, she needs no "improvements". It always seems like the improvements people mean are like an aqua duck.

I would like to see upgrades to the kid clubs, hard to see all the commercials for new ships kid clubs and then tell the kids not on wonder...
