I was just perusing the menus trying to decide on one more APR for our Christmas trip and I was very impressed with the interesting variety of the CP menu. My 10 year old dd and I are self-proclaimed foodies and love buffets if the items are interesting enough (we love BOMA!)

We haven't made any ADRs at Magic Kingdom yet...is CP is good as the menu looks?

My friend and I ate lunch there during our trip in January and we both LOVED it! Some of the items I tried there were some of the best things I ate while at WDW this time (and we ate a number of places that we really enjoyed). I went back for 2nds and 3rds on a couple of things!! :o I searched everywhere for the Mediterranean chicken recipe. Yum! But that's just my opinion.

Yes! :lovestruc The food is FANTASTIC there - it's one of our must-do's every trip, sometimes once for lunch and once for dinner! Go, you will not be sorry!

IMHO, it's one of the best character meals on property. Enjoy.

I agree Cp is amust do for dinner every time ! I love the mussels and the shrimp and sample lots of other sides too ,the desserts are awesome !! Menu varies but I have always loved it!!

CP is a must do for our family too! We've been to breakfast and dinner there now and everything is always great and it seems to have the most choices on a buffet at WDW!

I concur! Probably the only character buffet on property that we have tried that I would go back to just for the food. I love the frittata and the salmon and the pork tenderloin....yum yum....we'll be sitting down to lunch there in 2 months and 1 day.

CP can't be beat. We've been twice for dinner and this year we're going for the breakfast buffet. Can't wait!!! Go and enjoy. Yes, it really does live up to its reputation :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

We have never been there. This is good to hear since we planned on going there in March.

I'm actually going to go the other way on this one. My family has been 3 different times over the past 7 years and each time we thought it was average at best. We keep trying based on others reviews, but still no luck. Our last visit (summer of 07) was for dinner and it was our worst experience of the 3. Service was terrible. Food was not being restocked very quickly and the characters kept skipping our table. It took 3 different conversations with a manager before my son got to meet Tigger.

I'm with stitch. We weren't thrilled w/ our dinner at CP last December. The food was okay...nothing to write home about...but the service and character interactions were the worst we experienced all week (8 nights and FIVE character meals!).

We won't be going back to CP anytime soon.

CP has become a tradition for us. We have gotten the breakfast every time we have gone. I like their breakfast and I like the restaurant setting. There is something about it that just screams Disney for me. Maybe because I always wanted to eat there as a kid and it was always booked up. ADR's weren't as easy in the 70's :confused3 My wife always includes it in the trip planning and she loves it to. Eat and enjoy.

We love CP! ::yes:: The characters are very fun. We're breakfast character meal people so we haven't been there for lunch or dinner.

We ate there for breakfast and absolutely loved it! The food was always restocked, the characters were great to interact with. We were able to get an ADR before the park actually opened. It was nice to stroll down Main St. and get photos in front of Cindy's castle before all the hubbub. We were also done eating just as the rope dropped. This is a definite repeater for us!
