Impossible to do MSEP from LS/FL then Hub Wishes?

I'm getting all kinds of mixed messages from the internet on this one. I've read just as many people say that they love to watch MSEP in Liberty Square or Frontierland, then mine to the Hub for Wishes. I've also read that the crush of people is insane and you probably won't make it.

So now I'm confused. We'll have a 2yo, so I really don't want to camp out for an hour+ on Main Street for a decent view (nor do I want to lose out of extra FPs just to lock down a questionable MSEP FP+). But we'd really like to see Wishes. We are going the week before Thanksgiving, which is lower crowds overall, but only two possible nights for us to see MSEP/Wishes.

I'd love some tips or to hear your experiences.

You should be fine though it might be a tad tight. MSEP starts in Town Square, so it won't get to LS until closer to 9:20/25 (I'd watch it from LS, which is closer to the Hub) assuming it's a 9pm showing of the parade. The parade lasts about 15-20 minutes, so you should be done no later than quarter 'till ten, so go find viewing then. The only issue you might run into is finding a really stellar spot, though plenty of good spots near the Hub should be available. If getting a primo view for Wishes is your priority, you can always stake out a spot 30 mins beforehand and then just see the 11pm MSEP if there's one that night.

You're forgetting to account for Celebrate the Magic.

CtM starts 15 minutes before Wishes and is considered by many to be more spectacular and fun than MSEP or Wishes.
CtM will cause the Hub to be JAMMED with guests by the time MSEP passes through the Hub.

By running THREE evening spectaculars (at least two of which require a viewing spot in or very near the Hub) Disney has now created an intense bottleneck for guests interested in seeing the shows.
