If you purchased 1k of Nortel stock 1 yr ago, it would now be worth 49.00

If you purchased 1k of Enron you would now have 16.50

With Worldcom you would have less than 5.00 left

If you had purchased 1k of Delta Airlines you would have 49.00 left

But if you had purchased 1k of beer (cans only) one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for aluminum recycling, you would have 214.00


Based on the above, the best current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

How long before you're fully vested in the plan?

you must do at least 1k per year. Then you will be vested in about 40 years. After that, if you can even remember how to drink beer, it is all gravy. You will see the returns, even if you can't remember what they are for.
