I've never done Priceline before and I have a question. If you go under "Shop and Compare" you see exact hotels. When I do that, All Star isn't showing up. Does that mean it isn't in the inventory any longer.

Also - once I did that and the Dolphin showed up. next time, it wasn't there.

What's the deal? I'm trying to get two nights 5/16 and 5/17 - we have POR 5/18 - 5/23. Someone help me...I'm stupid when it comes to priceline.

Thanks

I dont recall every seeing Disney resorts on the Priceline shop and compare feature.

You have to remember its a gamble to get these rooms at at the All Star resorts.

I would be about an 89.00 investment to bid on a 2.5 star hotel in WDW vicinity for 2 nights and not get a Disney resort if you didn't win. (36.00 p/nite plus fees)

If the 89.00 investment works out then you hit gold, if not, enjoy what it gets you.

Good Luck and let us know your results.

Price and compare really doesn't have anything to do with the PL bidding system. It's thier retail arm and as Milemrkr63 points out Priceline doesn't really sell Disney on it's retail

You have to pick the "Name your own price option" which appears on the right side of the first hotel screen.

Once again, please remember that PL is NOT refundable or changeable and there is NO gurantee. Actually today it appears that the All Stars are coming up less often then before. At the suggestion of Lewis I will be adding bid dates to my summary going forward.

I added 2 more nights to my existing 6 room res at ASMU a few minutes ago all at the rate of 36.00. We now have 9 nights, 6 rooms arriving 5/29-6/7.

Good luck.

That is fabulous! Do you have to check in and out in between the reservations? I am curious if anyone knows how they handle these "separate" reservations. :confused3

For my friends and I, I am the only one arriving on 5/29 and all rooms are in my name. They will be arriving very early the 30th. I will check into the 6 rooms the first night (5 will be empty the first night but at 36.00 a room who cares). I will also ensure that when I check into the second reservations for the same 6 rooms for 7 nights, we keep the same rooms as I hae for the first 2 nights. This way when they arrive, the party can begin hehe.

I manage a huge Casino Hotel and we deal with back-to-back reservations every day. Its a simple matter of issuing new keys and getting new guest ID cards. The whole process is quick and painless.

AC I presume :teeth:

As long as they provide the same room, the new keys wouldn't be a problem. I was just wondering if you needed to vacate at 11 and check in again at 4  Absurd, I know but I've never used Priceline and want to learn more about it. The Nikki bird room I got is not a lot less then what I could have gotten it for myself and used gotten credit on my priority savings account. I also could have chosen the room.(double/no smoking, view) I think it was $54, I'm not sure if tax was included but that would have been maybe $6? I paid $47 on PL.That was the gamble though, I wanted All Stars.
The kids do get a free dinner the night before we go see the Mouse!
