Although we don't seem to have these threads pop up on the Universal Studios Board, I thought I'd just let everyone know. If you have any concerns or comments about this, I would ask that you post those questions or concerns on the original thread here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2125875

Everyone, please read this post outlining a very important new policy:

New Policy: Politics and Religion on the DISboards.

Political and religion based discussions/debates/arguments will no longer have a place on the DISboards.

We will be closing the existing threads on these topics.

Something is Nothing thread has had that practice since it started.

We don't touch delicate subjects and everyone plays "nice".
but then, we never stay on one subject very long......


I can't remember the last time the UO forums had a thread geared towards those topics.



I am glad to see it is now a disboard rule.

I must admit, I only come on the Universal pages on this site, found some of the other boards a bit well....."touchy" at times.

If you all remember, it's probably because we're just shallow Jerry Springer types on this side.

Just kidding....Could be because we're the type to go to amusement parks to have fun and realize that and this is what these forums are all about--like minded individuals trying to give each other tips and hugs.

I also think that the regulars here cover a fair number of countries making it difficult to have any political debates that would hold everyone's interests. Our common interest is quite far removed from politics and religion.

It is open to everyone. No one is EVER excluded.
We love having newbie homies join us.

it is a laid back thread where we just talk about what is on our minds, our kids, the parks, the weather, our families, share info about universal, and sometimes when i feel fat, i mention diets......

The only rule we have there is to play nice.
