It was open most of the day on Sunday. I only saw it closed down a couple of times for short periods. The ride did shut down right when we were going to get in the car. It was stopped for about 10 mins.

One thing is that they are VERY strict about not having any carry on items. Just use the free lockers and you should be fine.

Does that go for spectacles as well? If my friend takes them off, he won't see anything!!

You can ride with glasses. Just make sure they stay on with somewhat turbulent rides.

Guess what..."The Mummy" is on tv now - so I am sort of half watching it - it's quite some time since I have seen the movie. My 8 yo decided he wants to watch it - I told him the Mummy ride is based on this film - now he is very interested!

Some Mummy Comments: My family rode the Mummy . I was glad I tried it but once was enough for me. It was very dark and fast. My kids loved it and did it 10x each. They used the single riders line, it was shorter. They got stuck for about 15 to 20 minutes once when it broke down , they were a little scared but still wanted to ride again. One thing I saw outside the Mummy upset me. A mother was berating her son who did not want to ride because he was scared. I think this is wrong. She pointed to my daughter and said "see even that little girl is going on, you are a sissy. "In my humble opinion, rides should be fun, everyone has different fears and I don't think any child should be denigrated for not wanting to go on a ride. My husband said it was too intense for him and vows never to go on again. I will probably do it again next trip.

Unfortunately FOTL (and other Express things) will almost singlehandedly double the current wait times. It makes me feel........... chilly.

FYI, Mummy was opened all day today (Monday). I am pretty sure it will be opened all this week.

OOOOOOOOOOH I'm getting SO excited!! DH and I are staying at "that other park" but will be driving over on Friday afternoon just to see if Mummy will be open.

We're hoping to get pg so this will be our last trip for a while-we're not renewing our APs this year.
