Its been less than a week since I offered to email a copy of my Disney Planner to those of you who were interested. Unfortunately I have been unable to keep up with all of the requests. Therefore, I have decided to set up a webpage which will enable anyone who wants a copy to simply download it at their leisure. I have, however, been having a very difficult time figuring out how to set up a downloadable link. If anyone can explain this to me I would GREATLY appreciate it, as I have spent all evening trying to do this and have been unsuccessful. If anyone has @Home as their internet provider and is familiar with their free webpage system, I would be interested in hearing from you. Thanks.

We have some really smart people on the tech support board. I'm sure if you ask there someone can help you.

Hi HKR I'm going to move this to the technical board for you so the experts there can help you out.

Go to this page. Right click anywhere on the page other than the link and do a view source. This is just a very, very simple web page, about as simple as they come. But it does have a link to a file stored in the same directory on the web site as the html page. In the case of the link shown below means that the PSP412.ZIP file is also stored in the folder - http://members.home.net/bbrazeal/temp

http://members.home.net/bbrazeal/temp/download.html

It is equally possible to store the file elsewhere on the web site. If you do, you will need to replace the simple filename show in the example above with the full url of where, on the site, the file is stored.

Of course if you look up the &lta> (anchor) tag, you can do a lot to spice it up and also include it as, just say, a button on a much nicer page.

---- Edit -----

I've updated that little sample page which I've given the link to above. I've given you two different things to see there. One is just a standard text link to a download and the other uses a button graphic that I built and used. You won't need to view the source as I've made the code visible for each of the examples.
