This morning I checked my Sellers Account and I owed $52.12 - which was correct..

Just checked again a few minutes ago as I'd heard some grumbling on other boards and it now says I owe $116.17 !!! I did not list anything today or sell anything today.. It's a fluke in their system..

I contacted live help and he told me to ignore my Seller Summary and look at my "view account status" instead - which is correct. He assured me that they would not deduct this amount from my checking account but it still makes me nervous. I don't keep that much in there and if they WERE to deduct the $116.17 I would get slapped with a hefty overdraft charge..:mad:

This problem has been going on for quite some time now - see the Community Boards at eBay - as well as doubling billing and it seems they're not getting any closer to resolving the issue..

I wonder what they tried to "fix" now that WASN'T "broken".. Grrrr...:mad:
 
I've been having trouble receiving my invoices on time the past two months. Frustrating waiting for the fees to be debited from my bank account when I only get the invoice at the time the fees used to be deducted. I don't understand how switching to a new billing system can wreak such havoc.
 
I just had problems with them billing me twice in June. It should only be once a month and that's what I budget for. Since they did that my checking account went overdrawn. I have contacted Live Help and basicly got NO help. I was only told that Ebay was changing some things about their billing and now are trying to catch people up on billing. They alos Thank me for my understanding and paitence. I was/am furious. If they got behind in their billing and needed to catch people up, then they should have notified people. I told the person on Live Help I should have gotten some type of notification about them going to bill me again.
I hope they get this fixed and noone else has this trouble.

Have they offered to pay your overdraft charges? I too was billed twice in June - but was sent an email notifying me that they would be doing so.. It appears that April charges weren't billed until May and now in June they're billing for May & June in the same month - thus the two billings..

Sure is confusing.. I for one will be keeping a VERY close eye on my account EVERY DAY..
 
OMG! My account is showing I owe $75 when I really owe $22. What is going on at Ebay!!!!! Thanks for the heads up C Ann.
 
No they have offered to pay for nothing. Infact they have not even offered an I'm sorry. I'm ready to take this matter to someone else since I'm paying more for their screw-ups.
 
That explains what happened to me. I sell very little, so itr is easy to track.
But they tried to deduct my invoice total from a debit card that was closed months ago, even though my current information is in their system.
I e-mailed them and let them know. The reply was Please verify your info is correct. (As in -- I am sure it is not our mistake.)
Duh -- I did that before I e-mailed them. And they have had the correct information for some time. :rolleyes:

Did they actually bill you twice the amount you owe, or did they bill you what you owed in two different amounts and times? They bille dme a partial amount, and then the rest two weeks later..which was just what I owed them.
I've been selling and listing so much lately, that it would be hard to keep track. I do carry overdraft protection at no extra charge, so at least, if they do goof up, it wouldn't cost me anything.

Yep, people are gumbling all over the place...but they are still the only game in town : (
 
They took out money at the beginning of June for Mays bill. Then just the other day they took out a different amount which they say is for April, I think. The person from Live Help was really starting to get me confused. My ebay account still has a balance on it.
All I know is I would get a bill from them by way of e-mail at the end of the month and about a week later (first week of the next month) the money would come out of my bank account. This is the way it has been since I signed up several years ago. Now they did it twice in one month and my bank account is overdrawn because of it and I'm mad!!:mad:
