I know we have a lot of new folks here on the VMK, and we love all of the new people who have come to join us. I know lots of folks are still learning their way around the DIS, and I wanted to point out something that I think is important for everyone to know.
Sometimes, you may come across a post that is attacking another poster, or maybe says something that shouldn't be said on a family friendly board. We need your help in making sure that that type of post does not stay on the board.
If you see a post that you think needs to be brought to the attention of the moderators on any board, you can use the report post to moderators button. It looks like this:
When you click that, it will bring you to a form that allows you to fill in a comment about why you think that post is against DIS guidelines. Once you fill out the form and click send, an e-mail will go out to the moderators of the board so that we will know it's there, and take care of it.
Please use the report to moderator button rather than PMing individual moderators. The reponse time will be a lot quick if all of us get the reported post.
