I don't know anything about the Grand Prix but we just bought an Impala. My husband is 6' 3" and has more head and leg room than he has had in any vehicle. Not sure if this is what you are asking about... but the Impala is a great choice for taller folks!

I have not had a Grand Prix but have had an Impala from the EA with National several times....brand new very nice spacious car. Although I do not first hand experience I would guess the Impala has more room. One thing I have done in the past is check on the car makers web site under specifications to check leg room,cargo space.

The Impala and Grand Prix are based on the same GM platform, so they're probably going to have almost the same space. I've driven both, and they are practically clones except for the external and internal styling. It's like comparing a Chevy Equinox with the Pontiac Torrent

All the car companies just clone thier platforms for the diffrent brands anymore ... GMs epsilon platform is used for the G6, Aura, Malibu etc ...

I have an Impala and my Dad has the Grand Prix.... my husband is 6"2" and has plenty of room in the Impala... both leg room, height and elbow space.... we couldn't be happier with it.... the Grand Prix is nice but I like the space in the Impala

I've had both vehicles (just days apart) from Enterprise, and the Impala looks and feels much "roomier" on the inside. There is almost no comparison. The Grand Prix has more power, but the Impala is the more comfortable.
