Impact of Flooding on Oahu on Aulani?

Heard about the flash flooding as a result of the "tail end" of a storm on Oahu over the weekend into today...

For those at Aulani, what has it been like there the last couple of days?
Must be a "fluke storm" as I didn't think summer was the rainy season?

Always scary to hear about Floods...

Hopefully, the rain will go away fast and the other side of the island will get back to normal!

It wasn't necessarily a "fluke" or a rainy season but the remnants of a tropical depression that was in the Pacific. It is hurricane season in the Pacific just like it is in the Atlantic. The last time we went to Hawaii there was a hurricane way off somewhere that was close enough to ruin a snorkeling excursion that we had booked off of Maui. It was just way too rough & choppy to see anything. Crossing my fingers that we don't have anything like that crop up again on our upcoming trip.
