We were all a little tired from last night's late night, so we "slept in" .. 'til 7! LOL Our original PS for Spoodles was at 8, but we didn't make it there 'til about .. just before 9 a.m. At first I felt bad for being late, but honestly, it wasn't crowded at ALL, so it didn't make a difference. We caught a cab from the Grand over to the Boardwalk area - it's just the easiest way at this time of day (any time of day really! LOL)

After breakfast, we walked over to Epcot, and once into FW, the first thing we did was pick up some FP for TT. While we waited for the time to come up, we went to Innoventions East - Evan wanted to check out the exhibit on "Space". Maybe I'll like it once it's opened .. but it was sorta boring to me right now! LOL We spent a while there though, and then went over to the Wonders of Life pavilion to spend some time. It's been a while since we've gone through there, and Evan likes it a lot. This was a trip where we tried to do things that we hadn't seen in a while, just to keep it fresh!

It was finally time for our TT FP, and we were thrilled to find that there was almost zero line! Usually here, even with FP, we end up waiting a bit. After the ride, we went semi-quickly <g> through Mouse Gears, but figured we'd come back for a longer look later. We were all starting to get hungry, and wanted to get to WS.

As with yesterday in the MK, we found that the crowds were very light. No lines and an empty boat in Mexico, and barely anyone in the pavilion at all. In Norway, the line for Maelstrom was maybe 5 min if that!

We were really ready for lunch now, and decided to do something I've been wanting to for a while now - try Restaurant Akershus! We didn't have PS, but it wasn't a problem getting seated.

After lunch,. we tried calling central lost and found again about the lost cell phone, but still no luck. I also touched base with Boyd @ the GF, who was going to see what he could find out about it, but unfortunately, no luck on that front either. I called Debbie on my cell, and that's when she was chilling in her room, while the others were over at DQ. We agreed to meet up later, and continued on around WS.

Oh, I also *tried* to make a point to stop and see the different variations of Santa in the countries - that idea started out well! LOL but .. as usual .. I didn't end up seeing them all! I think we've been to WDW @ Christmas time probably .. I believe 5-6 times and I have yet to see/do/experience ALL of the holiday happenings there! And people wonder why we keep coming back :::shakingmyhead:: Poor, poor clueless people .... LOL

Another thing that we/I haven't done in a very long time was even go into the Biergarten area in Germany, much less eat in there. No, we didn't have another lunch! LOL but I wanted to check it out again, so I just casually strolled in .. I'd forgotten how pretty it is in there! Maybe on the next trip, we'll do a lunch here on a day when we're not really starving! LOL We all like this sort of food just "ok" .. but in the 90+ degree summer humidity, it IS a nice, dark, cool place for a meal!

We stopped in Italy for some shopping, and to watch a performance, and ended up having a nice chat with some lady about the real Italy! LOL I have no idea how the conversation even got started, but before long, we were just talking away!

By the time we got to France, an attack of the munchies was hitting again <g>, and a stop at the Boulangerie Patisserie was in order! The line was waaaaaaay
out the door! But we all had our hearts set on our 'regular' things there, so .. we just waited. My first go 'round here, I always have the cheese and fruit plate, with a glass of wine - if we get here more than once, then I start in on the pastries! LOL ;) Evan had the same thing I did, and I think Dave had a Napolean.

I'd finished eating, and it was getting closer to CP time ... and I still wanted to get to the perfumerie, so I left the boys and headed over myself while they finished eating. Last month, I was looking for a certain Escada scent, and they were out - though they told me they'd have it back in in Dec. They sure did, and with a couple of great deals too! As I was paying, Debbie and Jackie showed up, and got deals of their own too! LOL Everyone gathered outside the store there in France when we were done.

It was time to walk down to the American Gardens theatre for the CP, so we headed in that direction. Debbie and I made a brief stop for a couple of Kir Royales <g> and took those to the show with us. Blair Underwood was the narrator, and I think he did a very good job!! Lou Gossett Jr was still the best I've seen so far, but Blair was a close second! We had seats that were decent, except for when someone from WAY in back would decide they just *had* to come stand RIGHT in front of us and spend an eternity focusing their camera and then taking a picture! I felt like giving them a foot where the sun don't shine, lemme tell ya!

Oh yeah, I forgot to say -- Evan had decided he really didn't want to do that CP again. I was rather hesitant to let him go in Epcot alone for that hour or so .. but.. Dave said he thought it was fine, and I guess I have got to give him space at some point .. so we gave him my cell phone, and I showed him Debbie's number in there so he would call us, thru her, if he had a problem, and we let him go. He went just to Test Track and rode that three times and came back! LOL He was early even, and sitting right where we said to, so that was good. I found out later that on his walk up there, and while in line, and on the walk back, he was havin' a good old time calling my niece Melissa, and several of his friends, telling them all what he was doing! LOL I don't care, I just thought it was funny!
I still don't intend for him to go off on his own on a regular basis (he's 12 1/2) while we're here, but I did let him do it this time.

After the CP and a regrouping, we all headed over to Teppanyaki for dinner. Everyone loves it here, and it's a good place to take a group, since that means you'll all be seated together (well, if you're 8 people or less) Our meals were all SO good, as usual .. though we didn't have a very entertaining chef. The table across from us did though, so we got to enjoy his antics at least! LOL

After dinner, the kids couldn't wait to tear down to the store in Japan ... lol... so we followed. By this time, I guess it was because we'd been up early, out ALL day, and had just eaten a gigantic meal, but the three of us were getting tired. So Dave, Ev and I headed towards the front of the park, with a buzz through Mouse Gears, and a spin on S.E., then it was back to the Grand.

Day 4 up next!!

Isn't CP great - I was able to see Marlee Matlin earlier this month and enjoyed it - another fun day for all - thanks for posting!
