IMBE's Day 12 - Going home ..

I was up at about 7 or so today .. a "late" day! <g> I got showered and dressed immediately, and went out for one last morning on the savannah. Once the rest were up, we went down to breakfast at Boma. It wasn't nearly as crowded as dinner last night, and that did make the experience a lot more enjoyable.

We came back to the room and put the last of the things in the suitcases, and then just spent time 'saying goodbye' to the animals on "our" savannah! LOL It was funny too, because it seemed like they all trooped by to see us! I kept waiting for them to pick up their hoof's and wave at me! <g>

The bellman came and picked up the luggage around 10:30, and we went for a final stroll around, one last trip out to Arusha rock, one last run through of the store ... and then the car came LOL No matter how long or short a trip is for me, I just always hate leaving! I think I get too attached to maid service and room service -- I'm STILL looking for the housekeeping and room service buttons on my phone here at home! LOL

I'll do a 'final thoughts' in just a bit.

Theres just something about packing up and leaving isnt there. I'm glad the animals showed up to tell you all goodbye.

I always cry the last day of vacation. The reality of home, work, and everyday life, just does not compare to a vacation, particularly a WDW vacation!
