We didn't need to get up REAL early this morning, as we didn't have any breakfast PS.. I still kinda wish everyone would have been a *little* quicker getting ready! LOL Especially since it was our last full day.
Even though we didn't to MGM 'til about 10, the lines were still pretty tame. We went right to RnR, and it only had about a 20 min. wait. Now, Ev's never ridden it. He's always been afraid to, even though *I've* always said he'd do just fine on it! After all, he *does* ride TOT and loves that, and to me, TOT gives you more of a 'sinking stomach' feeling than RnR! Debbi loves RnR, but *she's* never done TOT because she's afraid of *that*! LOL So her and Evan made a 'deal' .. if he did RnR, she would do TOT.
Well ... he did it! AND he loved it!! LOL I was so glad! He was in the seat in front of me on the ride, and I was really holding my breath to see what his face, his reaction, would be like when we got off! LOL
So, that meant that Debbi had to "pay up" and do TOT! <g> She got a brief reprieve because the line had gotten a little longer, and we decided to get FP's for it. While we were waiting, we did some shopping around, and then went back to the ride. And while I don't think she loved TOT as much as Ev liked RnR! LOL she was fine.
We went over to "One Man's Dream" and looked around there, saw the film -- this is an interesting exhibit, and I'd highly recommend it!
We were all starving by this time, so we headed into the 50's Prime Time for our lunch PS. Once lunch was finished, Debbi really wanted to do Indy, so we got seated just in time for the show to begin. To be honest, we only went to this because Debbi wanted to see it! LOL It's just one of those attractions that I'm a bit tired of. Sorry to any big fans of this out there! LOL I just think that it could use an ... update, an overhaul .. something to make it a bit different.
Manda wanted to do the Backlot Tour with James, but no one else wanted to, so they went off while we went to Sounds Dangerous - nap time for me! LOL We all met back up a bit later, caught my other favorite show "Hunchback" and saw Muppets 3D while waiting for our Millionaire FP time to come up. Our timing was good, because we managed to be first in line at Millionaire, and Evan and I got in the "fastest finger" seats! LOL Very very strange to keep seeing yourself up on that big screen .. scary really! LOL
By this time, it was getting close to our PS @ the Brown Derby, so we checked in there. It was extremely crowded (more crowded than any ride/attraction I'd seen yet!) and we ended up with a 25 minute wait!
It did end up being worth it though, both because the Brown Derby dinner was very good, and so were the seats for Fantasmic! You enter by Oscar's Super Service, which is on the right hand side, just before the camera store. The reserved seats are on the right of the theatre, yet we were able to slide all the way over towards the center, and could see everything perfectly! It was great!
Very reluctantly, we left after Fantasmic!, and headed back to AKL to get our things packed up and ready for our departure the next morning :::sniff:::
Final Day coming soon --
