I do. I was seriously considering this career for a while. It might still be a possibilty as well...though realistically, I will probably stick with teaching.
i'm glad i'm not the only one...i love watching the Travel Channel specials on Walt Disney World Resort and the various theme parks, because they always feature one of the lead Imagineers, this awesome insanely creative guy named Joe Rohde...it's pretty hard to find clear-cut information on what degrees you need, what sort of training is necessary, how easy/hard it is to become an Imagineer, etc. there is this one unofficial site, www.imagineering.org, that's pretty cool...anyway, I think it'd be a totally awesome career to have
Imagineering is my dream job, I dream of going to CalArts for graphic design and becoming a graphic designer for Disney Imagineering, I can only hope that one day I'll make it.
