Disney has changed the booking window for Lunch with an Imagineer to SIXTY days. It is no longer 30. :guilty:

I saw a post that said someone was calling at 60 days but I thought maybe they just misunderstood. Today is my 60 day mark. I called this afternoon because this morning I was going to a funeral and didn't think about calling before we left. We have a party of 5 and there are only 3 spots so we can't get in. :guilty: That was the LAST detail I needed to put in place for our trip and I am absolutely sick that I missed it.

So heads up, fellow DISers! Don't miss out on booking this very special event because Disney didn't bother to publicize the change in booking windows! SIXTY days, NOT thirty! :sad2:

Don't give up!

Keep calling back. Someone might cancel, and then you might be able to get everyone in!

You could always book the 3 spots and keep calling for the others that you need- and if they don't turn up by the cancellation deadline, cancel it.

Good luck......

I will keep trying. I am just so angry that I didn't call first thing this morning! I need to talk to the others in our group and see how we want to proceed. We might be able to do it later in the week, but that would require major ADR overhaul. DH is willing to leave it for another trip. We'll see what we can come up with. I am really upset because we decided NOT to go to La Nouba because we THOUGHT we were going to the Imagineer lunch. Now we might end up not doing either one.

Thanks for the heads up...I changed the date on my things to book calendar....

So glad you shared this. I was going to call at 30.

Are the lunches all weekdays or on specific days only?

They are Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 11:30 AM only. I was able to get a reservation for another day during our trip, so I am very excited! :Pinkbounc I hope we get an interesting Imagineer!

Don't give up! We were able to get reservations day of. I don't think this lunch is so well known as to be a 'must call' 60 days out. (Unless you really have to have a certain day....then, I bet it will be sold out that day ;) )

The problem with the day I wanted was that they only had 3 spaces left and there are 5 of us. I decided it would be better to book for a different day and know 100% that we had the reservation, then worry about moving other activities around. I moved our MK tour to another day (luckily they had 5 slots open for it) so it has all worked out fine. The schedule isn't as smooth as it would have been, but it is OK. We're still doing all of the activities we wanted to do. :)

I've done this twice in the past and thought it was just an amazing experience both times. Once with Theron Skees, just myself and one other guest and Theron. Quite an intimate and exciting experience.

The other, was with a woman who helped design AK, about 8 people at that lunch and still quite nice.

I was thinking of trying the dinner but it looks like that has been discontinued and it's all lunches now? What is the current cost? Do you pay it upon booking or at the meal now?

I am glad to hear that you have had 2 good experiences! :) I believe the dinner has been discontinued. The current cost for the lunch is about $62 per adult without tax and tip. I think I worked it out to be about $78 with tax and tip included. You guarantee with a credit card, but you pay at the restaurant. We are very excited about our upcoming lunch! This will be our first time at the Imagineer lunch, and our first time dining at Brown Derby.
