Image placement on shirts???

Hi - I was going to make a couple of shirts for our upcoming trip and realized that I have no idea as to where to put the designs. Is there are standard location for putting the iron-on? How far up/down should an image be? Sorry for the basic question. I am just trying this out for a bit of fun. TIA

I normally just eyeball it. There is no right or wrong place - but what looks good to you. I normally do 2 - 4 inches from the shirt collar depending on the design size and shirt size.

Thanks. This helps a lot. I tried one and it turned out pretty good if I don't say so myself. I may just be up for the next few hours printing and ironing. This could become addictive. Thanks again for your help.
