Well, I hope to have a few Christmas decorations up before Thanksgiving because of the company we will have. We have a small inside area to fill, and right now there are plants in the area. I don’t like the job of trying to find places for these plants for 75 days or so. However, it will be worth it!

I’m very excited that the only time I’m leaving my house today is to pick up our pizza tonight (Sundays are pizza and pajama night - my favorite night of the week).

I’m putting away Halloween decorations today and putting up Thanksgiving - these holidays are coming in fast like a freight train. In 5 weeks half of Katie’s freshman year will be done - crazy! Time needs to slow down!

@slo, yes college years pass very quickly I think. I experienced that when I had sons in it, and now a grandchild!

I'm putting away Halloween, Fall up, and working on lesson plans - especially the one for my formal evaluation next Monday.
Also excited that the UW Huskies beat Oregon State!

I’m looking out my kitchen window while eating lunch and I’m sooooo……glad that DH and I picked up all the leaves yesterday. It was very windy and very challenging because of the wind, but it’s done. We had to take advantage of the unusually warmer temps, because this weekend it’s going to be in 30’s .

I woke up to 51° this morning. I suppose that’s normal for now. I’ve enjoyed November weather so far. I’ve done some garden work and bike riding.

Inside, I have found places for my houseplants so we can decorate the front window with Christmas things.

We will vote today. Then I will cook some cranberry sauce as practice for Thanksgiving. I have to decide how much to make for 12 people.

It's 49 at 5:40 am,,,,,going to be 79 today.
I am running errands. Almost done Christmas shopping. I am searching for one thing.
Then baking one batch of cookies. Trying to do one a day. Since we will be gone for 10 days in Dec. and DS's family leaves 12- 21, I have to get things done early.

Unless something unusual happens, that is about as low as it goes....maybe a degree or 2 lower

I’m glad that we are still mild here in the Chicago area - 60s today and 70s tomorrow.
The bottom drops out on Friday - temps in the 40s and then the weekend in the 30s
