I’m wishing Katie wasn’t leaving for school tomorrow afternoon - her break went by so fast. Next time she’ll be home will be Thanksgiving.

Babysitting today. 2 more days of break and they don't like their aftercare.

Getting packed for a trip to visit our friend in Hendersonville. She has adopted two kittens, Tootsie and Tiger. Looking forward to meeting them!

Kids arrive at 7 am today, but only for an hour or so while their parents are at a parent/teacher conference. DIL works from home today so she will pick them up.
And then I can do my downstairs cleaning finally

I'm having a great birthday today.
I went out to breakfast with Katie, which was very nice, since she is leaving right now to go back to school.
My boss bought me some very nice small decorative bundt pans, because he knows how much I love making bundt cakes - I can hardly wait to try them out.
Tonight my parents are taking my DH and I out for dinner to a new Mexican restaurant and I'm going to get myself a birthday Margarita, then afterwards they will come back to my house for birthday cake that my mom made for me.
Very very nice day - I am very blessed

It’s 44° here in Roanoke, and we are heading south, but also into mountains, so we don’t expect warmth.

The Phillies won, so I am very happy today!

Thank you! We got home at 3:30. Gus is home now too! We had beautiful weather and fall scenery to look at while we were driving. Am happy to be home. We traveled over 1,200 miles since Tuesday.
