I’m looking forward to spending this weekend with Katie - this is the last weekend of fall games - she’ll have 3 games tomorrow and 2 Sunday. So DH and I will leave pretty early tomorrow morning, watch her games, take her out to dinner and stay the night. There’s a beautiful old Catholic Church close to our hotel that I will finally have time to go to their 8:30am Mass on Sunday - I’m looking forward to seeing the inside. Then we’ll watch Katie’s games and head home. Busy fun weekend

This church was absolutely beautiful.
It’s around 150 years old
I‘m already looking forward to my return

I’m so proud of my Katie - she had a fantastic finish to her freshman fall softball season. She hit awesome and made every play flawlessly when in the field. All her hard work since she was 7 years old is paying off - it’s so wonderful to see. No more games now until the Spring - their first home game is the end of February.

Thank you for your kind words, we are incredibly proud of her. She is one of the best people I have ever known, and I’m not just saying that because she’s my kid. Whatever she sets her sights on, she achieves it. She just told us that her college coach wants her to start taking a leadership role with the team, which is awesome, since she’s a freshman. She never ceases to amaze us.
She is loving college life - everything about it. She’s living her best life and striving every day for success not only with classes but with relationships too. She’s made so many new friends and is really loving life.
I’m glad you enjoyed the church photos. I don’t want to say exactly where this church is at due to who knows who’s reading this stuff, but I will say it’s in northeast Indiana.

It looks like it’s working again - hopefully it stays that way. Katie and I can hardly wait for this trip. I’m just praying she has no injuries during spring season to prevent us from going
