I got an email concerning Operation Fireside and Coast Guard recruits. Later in September the Red Cross and Coast Guard will have a meeting, and it did sound optimistic!

DS and DIL are about ready to get on a plane to go to Orlando and then a cruise. A friend is picking them up and then taking them to the port on Monday......and we have the kids for a week

We got home and our air conditioning is broken! We may get a temporary fix tomorrow and our new unit will be ordered on Tuesday.

104 here today. We have two units but we replaced them 3 years ago and they were $$$$, so I hope they last a long time.

Highs are in 80’s. The company has sent a person to give a temporary fix. He’s here now!

We had a 5 night stay. I have carpal tunnel procedure on Friday. Next Tuesday Tom has knee replacement. We wanted a get away to remember while we recuperate. Next Disney fix is not until December. However there are two driving get aways to Dollywood and to see friends before December.
