I' so excited (doesn't take much)! My son and I headed out to an antique mall and then had lunch at a favorite local Mexican restaurant. He then told me about this newly opened doughnut shop, so...goodbye sopaipillas for dessert and hello BoSa Doughnuts! Oh my gosh! Huge, delicious, and so many! New to my city, but there are others in the state. Thank you, Jesus! I love doughnuts.

Like Meriweather, we're heading into icky extreme heat. I may have to break out the Christmas movies!

It's just early for that high, but in summer it is usual.

I’m/we’re going to the last HS event tonight - the Spring Sports Awards Night. After tonight, I’ll have no reason to enter that school again - sad. Both of my girls had a great HS experience there. Time to move onto the next chapter.

Today we are celebrating June 10th on June 8th. When we met in 1966, it was a Friday. Traffic is horrible on weekends near/to the shore, so we celebrated with friends today.

Tom and I are on the right. Faye is a sorority sister who was with me when I met Tom. On the bench by the window are my DSis Nancy and her DHoney, Garry. Garry spend nearly 4 weeks in hospital and rehab recently and we are so happy with his progress.

We are on our way home to get Gus at Doggie Day care. It’s been a fun day!

Maruca’s on the Boardwalk in Seaside Heights NJ. We met on the Boardwalk in Seaside Heights. Maruca’s was in Trenton at that time, on Olden Avenue. I went to TSC, and Tom lived in Hamilton Township, so Maruca’s was a well visited pizzeria! We’re celebrating our past in many ways when we go there.

I'm juicing up my school laptop in order to take my first summer PD class. It's on Daily Art, something I'd like to connect to their daily journaling. But, I'm so tired of Zoom trainings.

Next week is a full day on Zoom for Envisions Math 2. Yuck, yuck, yuck! Most of us can't stand Envisions to begin with and now I have to take Envisions2 ???? All day?
But then I also have an in person training for our new smartboard flat screens. A lot of my school colleagues will be there, and it should be a good one. However, it took me awhile to conquer my old Promethean and these new ones are intense. It will take a lot of playing!

Geez, I really dislike the heat. Just lost power about 1/2 hour ago. Back on now, but what a scare. We're on an excessive heat warning through Sunday. Apparently it was fairly widespread.
It couldn't happen during my Math training?
