I’m going to be working outside all day today and to tomorrow.
So much to do!
All the outside furniture needs to be washed and the front porch needs to be scrubbed. Everything needs to be done this weekend because next weekend we have SemiState on Saturday (if Katie’s team wins Regionals on Tuesday) and then Katie’s grad party on Sunday.
Am I crazy to have Katie’s grad party the day after Semi-State? Yes, but it’s the only available weekend since we have the AllStar tournament (Katie was chosen to be a player on the states all star team), travel softball tournaments or other obligations every weekend until Katie leaves for college. Very busy summer for us, which you’d think we’d be used to, but for some reason this summer is exhausting me before it even started - LOL!

I am researching a type of cane that supports the elbow, and hopefully it will keep me safe using my right arm for the cane.

I am very happy to have resumed riding my adult tricycle around town with my DH and DSis. Next week our weekday membership at the pool will also keep me active!

Hi! We celebrate our 54 Wedding Anniversary today, June 1. We went to a local hotel for breakfast and It was delicious! . Coming up, on June 10th we will celebrate the day we met, in 1966. We celebrate that day usually by going up to Seaside Heights NJ where we met, and inviting friends to have pizza with us on the Boardwalk.

We we’re supposed to get married June 8, but one month before the wedding DH, who was in the Marine reserves, was told he could NOT get June 8th weekend excused because there was going to be a special inspection. Luckily even with less than a month’s notice we were able to have everything changed, except the honeymoon dates. So, we left for St Thomas VI on June 9th as originally planned.

Almost to our anniversary. June 15. I will be on a cruise with DD and the grand kids
And DS's is Saturday, June 4. We'll be babysitting so they can go to a movie and dinner

Tomorrow is our 27th Anniversary - we‘re doing dinner and a movie for the first time since before COVID - I’m excited!

I’m/we’re officially done with HS softball - the girls lost the Regional game the other night. Now we jump right into travel ball - first tournament is next weekend.

I’m now getting ready for Katie’s grad party on Sunday. The party is super small, so it’s not very stressful to get ready for. I’m praying for no rain so many can eat outside.

Here at home. I still have 5 days to get through to get to the cool weather.
The next week here will be 108-114....................mid 60s in Alaska. We have out big winter coats packed
