Glad they got it pre cancer.

I go for a Simulated radiation treatment on Thursday, if I can deal with it, I will schedule 15 treatments.

Today we had a lovely lunch with good friends. Some we hadn’t seen in 4 years. Ate in a restaurant and it felt great!

Good luck with your treatment. DH got Photo-dynamic therapy.

We have only eaten in restaurants at WDW and DLR.....and really don't care anymore

I’m waiting for DH to join me to watch TV - not sure what we are going to watch. I was instructed by Katie to keep the volume down because she’s completely stressed out studying for a big anatomy test. Boy I don’t miss those days.

I go for additional x-rays of my shoulder today, and also PT.

Right now I am enjoying my first cup of morning coffee since last Thursday. It tastes wonderful!

Tom and I have a short stay in Orlando next week, then we drive to HHI and I have a 5 night stay with 5 girlfriends in Disney’s HHI resort. Tom will fly back home and he and Gus have the house to themselves! I haven’t had an all girls get away since pre Covid. That was in May 2019 for Epcot’s Flower and Garden Show.

I see an orthopedic doctor on Tuesday, but so far my therapist does see improvement.

Today I had the simulation radiation treatment. This involved measuring where the cancer is and showing me how they will protect my face and body when they do the treatments. There will be lead protection on my body, both eyes and everywhere on my face except the area they will treat. Things were not too heavy, but I am glad for the simulation.

I have two vacations between now and the treatments. I told you about the Gals Meet. Because of DVC and my love of gardening, I book Flower and Garden stays every year, and so, I will begin the treatments when I get home in April. I have 10 weeks at home. I expect to have three treatments each week for 5 weeks.

I'm on Spring Break, which is very much needed at this point! I've had enough of district mandated tests (and so have my students) and of new requirements, trainings, etc. Enough already.

I'm excited to spend time with my son, cleaning, and of course...March Madness!! Go Arizona Wildcats! and

I'm doing downstairs cleaning today and cooking 2 meals for DS.
I woke up this morning and got a nose bleed!! Haven't had one of those in many, many years. I think it is allergies and dryness

I'm...relieved that DS came though his wisdom tooth extraction well (at least the procedure itself - he's still got some restrictions for a few days while it heals.)

I remember those days.......DD had all 4 of hers taken out at the same time. Pretty miserable for several days.

My Wisdom teeth extraction story involves a Coast Guard recruit who came to our house one Christmas as part of Operation Fireside but had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted on Christmas Eve. We did the best we could to give him foods he could enjoy.

There has not been Operation Fireside for Thanksgiving or Christmas in 2020 and 2021. Everyone in Cape May hope it returns in 2022!

I just cancelled our summer British Isles cruise
Princess was not cooperative in fixing our unacceptable air times......that they had changed.
Our TA and us were so frustrated with them, we just cancelled and will look for something else.

I learned I will need an MRI to find out what’s wrong with my shoulder. An operation of some kind will be needed. Hopefully I will get a date tomorrow for the MRI.
