I'm.........

hugs, Bobbi.
I remember when I had oral surgery and the stitches started disintegrating, I could feel them hanging down from the top of my mouth......a very annoying feeling.

We had a really loud thunderstorm last night with lots of rain. I didn't get much sleep......rain is soothing, but not thunder.
Yikes, I wonder how these will dissolve.
Gus barks at thunder so no sleep during thunderstorms for anyone.

Yesterday I had something removed from my eyelid. The procedure took about 35 minutes and I think the hardest part was when I felt thread falling on my cheek. It meant the doctor was sewing up the wound on my eyelid. Something I hope I never have to go through again.

Yikes! I hope any follow-up tests come back good and everything is taken care of.

I’m sorry to read this.

Today I have podiatrist appointment and then PT.

Hugs for you bobbi - that does not sound like a good experience

I‘m really missing the smilies - I hope they return.

I’m home for lunch and then I head back into the rain to go back to work - very yucky weather around here lately. Katie was supposed to have her Last first HS game yesterday - they postponed it until Friday. She’s supposed to have a game tomorrow, which I doubt will happen - not a good way to start the season. Oh well…that’s how it is when you play a spring sport in the Midwest.

I think smilies and previews might be back since they have an icon....just not working right now.
I hate the Disney information "cell phone" on the right side......so distracting

Me yoo, dislike the cell phone.

DH and I got our second booster today. I had a neurology appointment today, and I did ask her opinion. She thought it was good for us, and if she were eligible, she would get it. So, we went and got them.

I'm still thinking about second booster. My school district went to optional masks, I'm still wearing mine.

And whew...is it only Wednesday?? What a week - new state testing is starting, and we're having to spend a lot of time teaching students how to use the new technology to take the things. One test every week through April. AND, 4th and 5th grade scores will now make up 50% of our school letter grade from the state. Pressure, what pressure? Do these people not realize that a child is so much more than a test score from a single test? Between district tests and state tests, we are all tested out, My poor kids.

I'm playing Zen music during a lot of our practice sessions, and passing out "illegal" chocolate kisses! For me, wine at night!

Just frustrated and very tired and drained. Thanks for giving me an outlet!

I also firmly believe in my kids - and not just their test scores. (I need several smilies here)!

Back from grocery shopping.....prices are crazy!!

No movie today. DH has a dentist appointment. Finally getting his implant put back in. It's been about 6 months. His regular dentist and his periodontist didn't have the right tools. He had to go to the dentist that did the initial implant......good thing it was in this state!!

I 1000% agree with you!!
I am not a fan of standardized tests at all.
Good luck with all that - you sound like a great teacher.

I hope that goes well for your DH

I’m briefly home in between stores. After I eat I’m heading back out into the cold rainy slop we have around here. Katie‘s game got rained out again, so that’s now 2 in a row. Hopefully they can play tomorrow - it will be dry, but cold - 45 degrees at game time - not fun.

I’m trying a new Bundt cake recipe this afternoon (I love making different bundt cakes). This one is a banana one with actual bananas - it will interesting to see how this turns out. We need to eat cake like we need a hole in the head, but hey…it’s only once in awhile 😁

Wow. Smiles and thumbs up from me!😊👍

Well, tooth is back in, but the old dentist charged $500!
The tooth was already made by the periodontist, the screw was already there.
So they just had to screw it in and fill the hole. He is glad he left that dentist. (I still go there.....we'll see for how much longer)

My sutures seem to be dissolving, and there some slight bleeding on my eyelid, but I think things are as they should be.

Neither of us have problems with the second Covid booster we had yesterday. So far, so good.

Meriweather, glad you both will be getting your boosters! We have had no problems with ours.

I’ll be leaving for shoulder MRI soon. I have made the decision to go with the skin cancer radiation treatments before dealing with my shoulder, except I will continue with the PT since they do seem to help. DH asked his oncologist yesterday about what she suggested about the order of my treatments. She gave her opinion, and I agree.
