She‘s still shivering and didn’t eat all her food this morning.
She‘s going to be double unhappy when she has to be stuck in my room all day when the furnace people get here. At her age we try to not stress her out, but there’s nothing I can do about this. If she was younger I’d call the animal hospital and board her for the day, but I know that would upset her more.
Hopefully by later this afternoon everything will be back to normal.

Sadly....no
They’ve been working all day and they are hoping to be done by 10:00ish tonight. These guys are great and have been working real hard. They’ve run into some issues that they’re taking care of.
It’s getting colder in here by the hour (it’s 54 in here now). Now that my DH is home from work, I’m laying with Sophie (my dog) on our bed (which is currently the coldest room in the house. I have to keep her away from the workers, so I have no choice but to keep her in here) under a heated throw. She’s very content now, which is good.
This has been a long day - the cold really zaps the energy out of you.

Not only is Ms. Sophie wrapped up in a heated throw, she also has on a turtle neck sweater. This is the most content she’s been all day. So glad my DH is home now so I can be with her.

65 degrees in the computer room this hour, 58 at 8:00,,,just to cold this morning....bad cold windy boring day....so I just laid on my bed all day...tomorrow another fresh batch of chemo....the next 3 days not so fun...maybe...I did no exhaust my self with farmer market today in the cold and wind...so maybe not so bad tomorrow....anyhow...the next 10 days do no look good for warm border living...sunny for sure, but wind whipping from poor california...feel sorry for all those folks at Disneyland visiting thinking they could avoid crowds...they are getting soaked....oh wait....the soaking happens next year under the new prices.

I’m.....waking up to a cold house this morning.
Furnace guys left at 11:50pm and the furnace is already not working.
I already, as calmly as I could, called customer service and someone will be here between 8 & 9am. I’m so tired of being cold. This house has not had heat since 10am on Tuesday. It’s 13 degrees outside right now which means the house is already getting colder than yesterday. I‘m so right now

A part of the new furnace is bad.

oh no......When we lost power for 5 days, the house got down to 46 degrees. It was horrible.
We didn't move much, just bundled up and laid around.

I’m still
It’s almost 5pm and the new furnace is not working. The company is replacing the motor in it, which I’m indifferent about. I wanted a new furnace, but they will not do that. I just hope that replacing the motor isn’t putting a band-aid on a lemon product. By the time it HOPEFULLY gets fixed we will be at 60 hours without heat.
