I’m dreading telling DD that she doesn’t have a 2 hour delay for school this morning - she’s not going to be happy LOL!
So far we have about 2” of snow and it’s still steadily falling. I’m glad my DD elearns so she doesn’t have to drive to school in this.

It‘s a bit warmer here today than it’s been, actually 40° so no snow. Very little rain, but maybe some will come later.
Sam’s is our destination later...looking forward to a rotisserie chicken!

Yes, my DSis brought two from Costco for a picnic we had, and I found them similar.

We live about 30 miles from Sams and about 50 miles from Costco’s, so we only belong to Sam’s.

The ones I go to here are right across the street from each other.......about 10 minutes away. That's why I go so often,
DD got the Sam's Club membership on a Groupon and added my name, so I need to start doing some comparing.
I already noticed Sam's had more candy and chip selections, but I don't need that

We are on our way.

We are strongly considering rescheduling our cruise to Italy and Israel for October 2022. It was to be last year...our friends say YES!

yep....we're thinking about cancelling our British Isles cruise in July.
I'll hold off a bit longer, but not looking good over there.....or the restrictions getting back in. We'll see if those change.

Back from Costco.....pork chops look wonderful!
Got a chicken for tonight.................
but when I pulled out of the garage to go saw that the tree in our front yard had fallen over last night.
Call in to our yard people to see if they can cut it up and haul it away

So....my furnace died today so I’m freezing!!!
Luckily it’s under warranty and a new one comes tomorrow at no charge. But until then we’re gonna have to bundle up

We lost power for 5 days once when we lived in WA......and were snowed in. Not as cold as where you are, but it was really cold before the power came back And then we got a generator

That’s it, we do not have a generator. I can’t convince Tom that we should have one before we need it!

We do have a fireplace, but we have fake logs in it with a heating element. I normally just turn it on for the fake looking fire and the crackling, but never use the heat - that changed tonight. It doesn’t kick out much heat, but it’s better than nothing.

Thank you - I’m gonna get under a thick blanket when I watch TV tonight and then put an extra comforter on the bed.
I bought a Compfy for my DD for Christmas and she LOVES that thing (maybe that will be tomorrow’s poll topic) and she said she’s sleeping in that tonight along with extra blankets.
My poor 13yr old dog is shivering, even with 2 sweaters on. I’m more worried about her than I am about any of us. With her being older she’s not much of a cuddler anymore - she likes her space. Who knows, she may reconsider that tonight and jump up with me on the couch tonight.
We have a whole house generator too - one of our best purchases.

That’s it, we do not have a generator. I can’t convince Tom that we should have one before we need it!

I highly recommend getting one. My parents and my in-laws were the first to get it, and it’s kicked on many times. Twice it was on for multiple days. Shortly after that we got one, and we’ve never lost power for days, but it’s comforting to know that if we did we’d have it. Ours is a Generac

I took a video, but it won’t work, so here’s a photo. I’m not sure why it’s sideways
I put the dogs bed in front of the heater, but as you can see, she’s not in it. She’s so stubborn, I moved the bed from its normal spot and now she’s boycotting it - LOL! Hopefully she’ll change her mind soon.

What I have done when posting a picture here is I edit it. Just make it a little smaller, or do something. Save it, then put it here. It had been suggested to me, and it works.

Thanks for the photo advice

Waking up to a cold house stinks, but I slept good last night - I love sleeping in a cold house. I normally turn the heat down at night (not as much as last night), so this was great. Getting out of my warm bed was not fun but that’s alright, when I get moving more it’ll be alright.
Furnace guys are supposed to get here sometime this morning - hopefully more sooner than later.
