I don’t know. She contributed to people when the fires devastated that area. Her commitment to literacy has inspired many others, and has had a real impact In the area, and around the country. Then she donated to the development of the vaccine. In Dollywood there is a Southern Gospel Quartet, The Kingdom Heirs who have been there for 25+ years.
Could it be her deep faith? Are people offended? I find it inspiring.

I've always wanted to go there and had been "planning to plan" a trip for our birthdays last October, but didn't do it due to the pandemic. I'm still hoping to get there someday, but no specific plans right now.

I love her charity efforts and do agree that she should be up for a Medal of Freedom!

The Great Smoky Mountain NP is another National Treasure!!
The drive was easy for us when we lived in Ohio, now in NJ it takes us an all day drive and we are exhausted once we get there, but we did do it in June last year. It was Flower Festival. Different that at WDW, but here’s a topiary I really liked.

We have someone here clearing our air ducts. It is loud and getting cold.....and will take 4 hours (3 to go).
No TV so getting other things done, one floor at a time as he does one at a time.

Tom thought he lost his Discover card. Looked, but called to cancel it. Within in 1/2 hour he found it. That’s the kind of morning it’s been. Over the weekend a Fidelity card was compromised, someone bought a Greyhound bus ticket on it.

I have taken down our Christmas cards, and read through each one. I also put up our new Save the Manatee wall calendar. Little by little, our house is being undecorated.

That's me as well. I have to be in the right mood, and can't do it all at once. I managed quite a few things yesterday, but his morning, it was making me kind of sad to take stuff down.
