I'm.........

I'm an early riser, so anytime.
We had 9 last week and got there about 8:30.....bus and monorail worked out and they took us in as soon as we got there. They had lots of empty table. How about I book 8;30 and then we can go over earlier if it works out. I'll make sure Dave gets up ;)
The boat shouldn't take as long as bus and monorail.
That’s great! Looking forward to the morning boat ride!

I am happy that some days at least, it will be warm enough in Orlando to swim.

stuffing some my hand harvested dates with cream cheese, some of the senior citizen in the block party tonight aspirate on the dryness. Though they are refrigerated, some of the dried out too long in the sun

Saratoga Springs....had to buy the one time points....we were chock out of points to borrow!

So, you grow dates??! How great! We planted a fig Bush last spring, we harvest maybe 5,6 last year, and were surprised. I hope to get more this year!

Well.......I harvest them from a tree down the street from the middle of august till the end of septmember. They fall to the ground....on the other side of the 4 foot brick wall. i use a 10 pvc pipe and have a soup ladle secured to the end and scoop them out of the yard. The dates fall on the the gravel. All of the lots here in Foothills yuma are gravel, so no sand problems. They fall ripe,so I take them home, wash them and sun dry for 24 hours layer, fridge and then they come out at special gatherings, as dates are $10.00 a pound and these are non-spray, not that they need spraying, commercial they put pillow case nets around the grape bunches and wait for more sugar content in the dates and then use a a very high lift to cut off the dates. There are 60 palm trees in view from my front porch, but only three are date tress. here in August and September the occupancy rate in the hood is only 10%, so no competition.

Nice perk of your area! Would not have guessed dates are grown in Oregon. You certainly know a lot about Oregon. History buff?

This reminded me that I have one date nut loaf in my freezer!
