I'm.........

I'm trying to work on pictures.....taking a long time to go through the photo pass ones

Well............the only major airport is Seattle. But that is expensive. So maybe look north of there. I like Everett.....not sure what the prices are like now. Marysville. Those are along the major freeway I-5. If you want to get away from there. Stanwood. I lived in Arlington and Bothell.
My friend lives in Federal Way....that is south of Seattle and more in the midst of things

I appreciate the suggestions. Have they renovated/improved that airport yet? It was quite a hassle when we last flew in/out.

We'll check these out and get back to you if we have questions.

light rail goes there now......last time I was there was Aug and it seemed fine to me....but I could just be used to it.

I'm done downloading photopass at WDW.....need to do Universal now and then all the ones I took

I'm full from dinner.

Washington sounds like a nice place to live, but I like cooler more rain weather

I'm still tired

Western WA is cool, some rain, not much snow. Eastern is completely different. Hotter in summer, colder and snowier in winter

That may sound smart but it was really a total necessity for us since we have lived in our house for 30 years. Yesterday I also inventoried our packed plastic storage containers, all 79 of them. And we did clean out and try to sell at the start of the recession but gave up 8 years ago.

We are all exhausted from the 5 hour staging session yesterday. The person was wonderful and easy to work with but we ended up staging every room in the house. Our stager brought things from her warehouse and showed us how to fold towels and even hung pictures for us. It looks so nice now and we have to keep it that way until sold.

Today I need to go out and buy a few pillow forms for the beds and we're set for pictures tomorrow.
....gee, I'd love to see some pix of the staging...

I'll take some later; we're exhausted after the picture taking. We had to temporarily 'hide' so many things like toothbrushes, toilet brushes and kitchen mats etc.

I finally finished doing a quick edit of the pictures I took of the staged house today. Rather than fill this thread with pictures here's a link to them and a few shots below.

Looks great, Kathy!

Hope it sells fast for you.....even though you have no where to go.
I hated keeping the house looking clean and neat while it was for sale! Drove me crazy.

Thanks Nancy! Even we are surprised how well it turned out. Our agent upped our listing price to $500k which was what we wanted.

Ah yes, the dreaded 'don't put anything down' and 'feeling like you're a guest in your own home' feeling! The house won't officially go on the market until the 11th but they put a "Coming Soon" sign up this morning.

Yes, the market is good right now. Typically houses in our suburban/rural area take 45 to 90 days(?) but several houses recently sold in less than 60 days even in winter. And currently we're the only house with an open floor plan on the market in our neighborhood.

Of course, this all scares DH who doesn't want to rent before buying anywhere.

How are the pictures coming Nancy?

Well.....the storage site I use.....snapfish, changed their website and I can no longer copy a photo. They say they are working on it
So I need to find a new place or wait.
Or shrink and post from my computer. I did a couple this morning doing that.....but takes too long

I'm not watching any sports at our house as the guys are doing: hockey and then the Super Bowl. I will eat the barbecue ribs DH is making though!!!

What the heck, I posted a reply on your picture.

It is a beautiful home. I would buy it if I had the money. You should have no problem selling it.
