I’m going to a wake tonight after work - those are never something to look forward to.
This lady was my best girlfriend’s mom. I attended the wake for my best girlfriend at the same funeral home about 23 years ago. Sad day for this family.

My back was very unhappy this morning, and luckily my chiropractor was able to see me, and will see me on Wednesday, and more. Our weather is more to our liking. After icing my back as suggested, we went to the pool this afternoon where we both did some water exercises, and I feel so much better!

PATTY MY SLEF ON THE BACK...got 80% of the jeorardy responses correct today...a rerun from last week, that was a rerun two weeks ago...tournament of champions with the portland oregon librarian....wow....talk about postive feelings for memory....still forgot watercress though.

I’m making a autumn craft I saw on TikTok yesterday (I love TikTok for craft and recipe ideas). Last night DH and I drove around to different stores to find the items.
I’m taking a tomato cage and putting it upside down in a decorative pot. Tie the ends of the cage together to make a point. Tightly wrap autumn leaf garland around it and then wrap in white Christmas lights. The finished project in the video looks so nice. We were able to find everything but the lights - I’ll need to get those from Amazon.

nice to have lights for the porch our outside....in community of outdoor living from oct 1 to April 1 there are tons of lights in yards...we have a sting on the wall that borders one side of the pool....the out door living space has lights along the edge, inside of roof...and because i MISS my oregon evergreens, wife lets me turn them on year round....those tall Christmas tree evergreens...at one time had a full tree...wife said,,,just at christmas....and then every lot in our massive county complex has mexican wrought iron lights that are on a timer, postioned on the mexican brick walls that line the edges of the road in front of the lot. no sidewalks just brick walls....for every lot. so our streets our illuminated. And Christmas....on my ...bored poor senior citizens really put up the lights...won't light up their palm trees, but come christmas...a many commercial airlline pilot confused as they make their approach over our hood. .

Made it back home......long drive and tired.
Came home to the kids swimming in the pool, so no down time yet
