I'm.........

I have some doggie aspirin that I give her - I’m not sure how well it works. Today was a challenge because she wouldn’t eat any cheese or peanut butter which are her favorite things. I finally just got her to lick peanut butter with the aspirin mixed in about an hour ago.
Do you have any suggestions about what to give her? Any advice will be appreciated.
If joints are bothering her cosequin? will help for joints to move easier. I grind them up and add it to food. I din't know there is doggie asprin. There maybe many reasons she may not be eating. My dog has stomach issues and the vet said to make a bland diet, rice and boiled chicken.I would take her to the vet on tuesday

I’m feeling concerned this morning. My 13yr old Yorkie is acting very unhappy. The way she’s walking I’m thinking she hurt her back. She won’t eat and is acting very depressed. Last night I gave her some peanut butter to at least give her something and she licked that off the spoon, but not this morning, which is concerning. I heard her this morning try to jump up on the window ledge (her favorite place to be) and I heard a thunk and a small yipe and then she sadly went upstairs and went in her cage (she sleeps in a small travel cage in my room - we keep the door off it so she can go in and out at her leisure). Last night she just stayed in her kitchen cage (no door on that either and it’s not a travel one so she can see what’s going on around her - I’m a big believer in dogs having cages they can go into for their own personal space) while Katie was baking cookies and Katie kept telling her that her doggie depression was giving her depression. At 13yrs old we know each day with her now is a gift because at this age anything could go wrong for her, but it is so sad to see her sad. If things don’t get better for her in the next couple days I’ll be taking her to the vet first thing Tuesday morning.
Oh no. I hope she feels better. Sending prayers.

I’m feeling less concerned about my Sophie today.
Last night she was acting a little more like herself. She tried jumping on the windowsill when Katie came home and the first time she failed, but she tried again and got up there. She was wagging her tail, barked a few times (she’s never been a big barker) and even ate (3 helpings of a 1/3 of her normal amount). This morning she popped out of her cage when I got up and took some peanut butter too (the aspirin still on the spoon - how do dogs do that?) I’m praying she continues to improve today. I really think she hurt her back sometime Friday night or Saturday morning. Thanks for your good wishes for her and dealing with my long posts about it 😊

^ yikes!

The ocean has moderated our temperatures so far. Philadelphia, not even two hours away has had 90’s a few times, we haven’t. Very nice 63° right now.

I went for a short walk outside today. I have to do more.
