We accepted one of the offers today for $25k over asking and other great terms. It was actually a tough decision choosing between 2 nearly equal offers. The family across the street was involved in an offer we couldn't accept but we really wanted to sell it to them; they even wrote a personal letter with their offer. But the better offer is too good to turn down financially.

We never dreamed that we would get multiple offers within 1 week of listing!

We're still in shock!

Thank you bobbi! We are very excited; still holding our breath until things go through but it should be fine!

Our buyer has no contingencies; has $300k in the bank; no liabilities; will cover the difference between appraisal and his offer; is going conventional for a loan, wants only a minimal inspection and is willing to let us rent back for 2 months. Yippee! Our realtor says this is about as close to a cash offer as he has ever seen.

We think we must have hit a temporary seller's market bubble since requests to show are still coming in (and being refused). And DH is panicking about everything to do which foremost is where to move!

...we actually met our lawyer at a local burger joint to sign some papers last night....the formality of my DH giving the sellers' lawyer the checks and the signed papers is today, when he will be given the keys to the house.....

....soooo, how many periods does your school have, and what are the hours? We added 5 minutes to our schedule this year and changed the periods to nine instead of the former 8 periods in the school day....

We have 6 periods and a lunch period. The school is not huge so all the students eat at one scheduled time period. Homeroom starts at 8 a.m. and last 10 minutes and then first period starts right after that. One day a week in the after school program I teach a Family Living class.
