I'm.........

Good. We will be walking Gus soon. My DSis has taken him for a longer walk earlier. We will go around two blocks.

putting together a photo collage of full shelves in the grocery store....an indictment on what we don't eat in Yuma, Arizona...or what are only eaten certain seasons of the year....or I can see the forest now that the trees are thinned out.

* Pork and beans
*pigs feet
*Hormel compleats, 60 second meals, $2.50
*Saverne kraut...artistanal...didn't know there was art to kraut making
*french style cut green beans
*jalfrezi coconut curry
*candy yams
*Olive oil, the most complete shelf in the store, to be a very healthy alternative to every element of our eating....full shelf

* Take the that back....soft drink aisle has not a single space....because someone is working the sugar oil shelves full time to fill in the spaces....of the other alternative to living life to the fullest.

* 8 drive-up slots , empty....though I did not see any carts being pulled around filling orders as I do on non panic shopping weeks.
Yuma , AZ, geologically and socially separated from the rest of the US, other than hording, shopping in a Christmas week store conditions. I was there to purchase half and half cream for wife's coffee and other veggies for her.....both of those shelves were full.

^Ok...of what you mention, we use a fair amount of sauerkraut ( hot dog lovers), green beans ( this is for Gus. Green beans are our supplement for his food. We buy it by the food service can size, and have 6 unopened cans in our closet. He eats one of those cans very 5-6 days), and pork and beans ( for the hot dog meals).

We don‘t normally drink pop, but as soon as it became apparent we were having a crisis, we bought 3 12 can packs of Pepsi products. On sale for $9 total, but you had to buy the three packs.

I have not been in a store since Tuesday, but pasta products were gone. DH ran in on Friday and bought milk, gallon of 1%, half gallon of regular for coffee, and quart of buttermilk for me.

Of that list, I only use olive oil

...and soda. That is DH source of caffeine.
I will go to Costco on Tuesday during senior hour and the regular grocery store on Thursday aslo during senior hour.
Couple of more weeks and one of my prescriptions is due to be filled, hopefully it will go well

I think I told you that Wal Mart had only 15 out of 90 of my thyroid medicine. Told me they would have the rest for me on Thursday. DH went in on FrI, but no, they didn’t have it. Now they say Monday. I had about 10, with the 15, I am good for two more weeks, but I hate that DH will be going in store again. He does not want me going into stores.

Yep....hope they get medications in. I have enough, but when it comes up for renewal I want to stock pile them as much as I can

We are back from our walk. Wind is cold off the ocean! I wish I had my earmuffs on. We were not walking near the ocean, a bit by the bay, but temperature surprised us.

David and I just cleaned out clothes and we have 10 lawn and leaf bags full of clothes to give away.

Good for you.....we took 2 bags to Goodwill at the beginning of year. We need to do more

I am putting my $35.00 in my piggy bank that I earned from the casino, they are closing tonight for the duration, so I had to use my free play money $10.00 and I won $35.00. It was a ghost town, safe distance of 20 feet or more between person,....except for my point earning machine, five of us in that tiny area...gheez...bright side, fewer people, so cleaning staff are constantly on the empty machines wiping down every playing and screen service. And the only venue , medical or commercial, that had large plastic hand washing sinks outside of each door, like those found at music events, though easy for them, as they have culture events outdoors all the time.

.....wondering why there are no American Idol fans on the Community board.....actually the best night every on the series, a growth for humanity with Leonard Cohen background song about two sisters broken and Celne Dion Prayer.....fitting for our country today....no.....the world.

That sounds like a program that would have been interesting to us.
I have been asked to play chess remotely with our soon to be 8 year old grandson. So, I need to brush up, since I probably have only played 5 games of chess in my life. Help!! He has been to chess camp, I didn’t know there was such a thing.

I used to in the chess club in High School but I honestly do not remember any of it. And have not played since then either.

I taught math at a high school, and the chess club needed drivers to take them to a tournament, and I volunteered.
I asked my son to suggest an app so I can play against a computer. That would be something I can do.

Good luck, Bobbi. I never played, but the rest of the family did. Don't think anyone has played in many years.

I'm cooking a few dishes for DS today (that is not new), cleaning upstairs and finishing laundry
