I'm.........

Kathy, depends on when in '17 for DL.
Sounds like a lot of things are closing early January for 12-18 months.........and then I see it being VERY busy.

I'm glad to be home, but now have a lot to do!

Wow; that doesn't sound good for a visit. I am thinking sometime May - August because that's when the Alaskan cruises happen. I'll have to think about it and maybe consider another visit to Yosemite instead since we only spent a day last time. Thank you for the information.

I understand about a lot to do! We have a realtor's team coming in on Monday to give us a first opinion on the house and what we need to do to put it on the market in February! That's when they want to list it; yikes! We spent all day today reorganizing and sorting 30 years of stuff in our basement; I am exhausted.........

Glad you're home too!

I'm sorting through pictures

I remember selling our house in WA......hard to do. And that was when the market was bad. It took a long time.
Yosemite is nice.....DDIL's parents live right outside. Alaska is nice too. I've cruised there 3 times now.

Nothing like starting to purge through stuff long before. When we sold ours I went through the check list and fixed the most important things. But thank god it was not much.
I'm just relaxing today.

Not so much; I wish!

We are getting quotes on updating 2 bathrooms and will need to paint some and get the carpet on the second floor cleaned etc. We estimate 1 month of work and spending at least $30k. Even though the market is decent we live in an area that is hard to sell; homes usually take 3 - 6 months to sell even when priced right due to the semi-rural nature; large lots and not being well known to most buyers.

Tomorrow I have to do lots more clutter-removal and re-org in the basement. Add hosting Christmas at our house on Christmas Eve it's more than I feel like doing but necessary especially if this is our last Christmas in this house...

Looking forward to six months from now (LOL)!

I am impressed with how organized you are with your to do list, Kathy.

I'm still working on pictures.....still have one camera to do....and captioning

We were very rural. That is one reason it took so long for us.....2 years!
Good luck

We just had another contractor here for quotes and now I have to go down to work on organizing the family room and then the basement again. I just dread the necessary realtor team visit tomorrow; reality time!!!

Good luck with your photo sorting Nancy!

Catch everyone later!

I'm eating lunch

baking cookies today and wrapping presents.....and then back to pictures. They are on the computer now at least

I'm having a change of plans.......might have to make a trip to storage. DD wants to get a kitten and all the pet stuff is stored away

Safe travels, Bobbi.
I just need to go a mile to DS's house on Thursday and Friday. I am glad.

I'm down to one camera to go with just a few pictures on it

LOL.....yeah right. Still have presents to finish and cookies to bake.
Took awhile. Photopass has over 300 and I think I have close to that. I am organized, so have to caption and folder them all.

I'm excited.....just got a new grandkitty :cat:

I am sorry to hear that. Is there anything we can do to help?

Aw, Meriweather, what is your grandkitty's name, or is it too early for a name?
