My dearest 19 year old cat Meow Me is not feeling well. She's been admitted to the hospital, and situation is grave. She has kidney failure, and severe constipation. Vet says she may not live through tonite. I'm so sad. I love her dearly. No matter how I tried to prepare myself, it's just still very painful. And I don't know if PD will help this time.

I am so so sorry!

Having 8 cats I can relate. My oldest is 9 and I hope she lives the long life your baby has.

{{{HUGS}}} from one kitty lover to another. Again I'm so so sorry!

It would be too hard for me to watch and I know I'd have to euthanize my kitty.
I'm sorry yours is at the end of it's life.....I bet you'll recall such fun times with your cat in the coming months.

*hugs* It's so sad to lose our little friends.

 Kidney disease is awful. It took our 13 yr old Lucy in 2001...and it's now starting on our 16 yr old Splash. I feel your pain.

Meow Me is a beautiful kitty! Hugs & prayers for you.

I'm so sorry about Meow Me. I know how you feel, I'm dreading that day already.

I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty. :(

I wish I could do something to make you feel better but I know I can't. I also feel your pain (and still have not recovered yet from my own pain of losing my kitty a few months back).

Someday your memories of her will make you smile again

for you and Meow Me.

I have 3 cats and 2 in heaven and I know exactly how you feel.
PD's likely can't help much...but know that many of us have been where you are right now and it breaks your heart. Knowing the time to say Goodbye is near...after such a long journey together is never, ever easy.

How blessed your baby was to have found you and shared such a wonderful life with you. God Bless you both and keep you through the next days. May you find comfort knowing you were a wonderful friend ....:worried:

 I'm very sorry about your kitty. My dog was nearly 15 and died 2 years ago-I still miss her.

I am so sorry. You and your cat are in my prayers. It is very difficult to lose a beloved pet. I lost my precious Cocker Spaniel almost 7 years ago and I still think about him all the time. I had had him since I was a child so we grew up together and it was very difficult for me. I miss him very much. :(

I have 2 kitties, and I know how special our pets can be. I am so sorry :( :sad1: .

I'm so sorry that your beautiful kitty is ill. As a multi cat owner and one that lost a cat to kidney failure 5 years ago, you and your cat will certainly be in my thoughts.

It's so hard saying goodbye, isn't it? What a wonderful, long life your Meow Me had with you! I'm so sorry for your grief. :( I have 2 14 yr. old dogs, and I live with the dread of losing them in the not-to-distant future. It's the hardest part of having pets, IMHO. :( {{{hugs}}}

Oh, adamak...

Your baby looks just like my sister's cat Bosworth. She was full grown when she got her about 17 years ago so they're about the same age, too.

No it doesn't get easier as they grow older, it just gets harder. They are so much a part of your life the longer we have them, it's like losing a family member.

God bless, honey. I lost two in the past few years and it hurt so very much. I pray you get throught it.

I'm so sorry. Having 2 older critters myself (15 yr old cat, 14 yr old dog) I just dread the day I know is coming. I've been through it before - more times than I care to remember - but it's always difficult. Her suffering will be over soon and she'll be in a better place waiting to see you again.

I see you have an upcoming trip to Hawaii. Enjoy it - Meow Me (love that name!) would want you to. :)

:( I'm so sorry to hear about your fur baby. As a cat mom to 3 myself, I can understand how hard this is. Hang in there.

i'm so sorry. I've been through it, I know how sad you are.
