just read and re-read a million times about all the 2011 dining plans.
some look exactly the same? can someone explain the difference?

Not sure what you mean by exactly the same - they are all entirely different from each other.

Quick service plan - 2 QS credits, 2 snack credits per night, plus refillable mug. On this plan you are not entitled to any table service meals.

Regular plan - 1 TS, 1 QS, 1 snack credit per night, no mug.

Deluxe plan - 3 meal credits (CS or TS), 2 snack credits per night, plus mug.

I am only guessing, but are you thinking they are the same because they list the same restarurants? As TDC Nala, mentioned, the key difference isn's in which restaurants are on the plan, but on how many Table Service meals, Quick Service meals and snacks are on each plan

OH i didnt know some restaurants only participated in certain plans.
how do i know which ones?

im looking for atleast 1 counter service and 2 sit-downs.

First post of the sticky thread about the 2011 Disney Dining brochure has a link to that brochure, which lists all participating restaurants. Make sure you are looking at a brochure with the date 121010 in small print at the bottom. Restaurant lists prior to that date are not complete.

Platinum and premium are all inclusive packages including many things in addition to dining and are priced accordingly.

If you are after only a dining plan, and you know you want table service meals, choose the regular plan (usually $45.99 per night per adult) or the deluxe ($78.99 per night per adult).

"Dining plan" is most often used to refer to the regular or basic (1 TS, 1 CS, 1 snack per night) dining plan.

The premium and platinum include a multitude of perks, from shows, tours, golf, childcare to turn down service.
They are more expensive than even the deluxe dining plan. However as mentioned, they cover much options and perks than the usual WDTC package with dining options.

I just noticed that your ticker said you leave in 2 weeks. I would suggest before you buy any dining package you see what ADR's you can get. It is very late for you to be booking dining and you may not be able to get what you want and be better off to pay oop if that is the case. I would suggest if this is your first trip you probably do not want any more than the regular dining plan as well. Chances are that with twins that are so young the deluxe dining plan will be too much especially since ADRS probably will be limited at this point.

:thumbsup2 Good eye!

Didn't even notice the ticker

It's a lot to think about with all the different plans but since you are only 2 weeks away then there isn't much to think about cause it probably won't work out if you don't already have a bunch of ADRs (advanced dining reservations). If you want to go ahead and prepay for some of your meals and a mug then you could do the quick service dining plan. My husband and I like to eat and with that plan you can get the most expensive thing on the counter service menus and you also get a desert and drink included. plus you get 2 snacks/person which can be around $4 each.

The dining plan is not good for 21 month olds, is good for adults though.
