im tired of homework.

Shelby, I feel your pain.
I'm STILL not done with my 9th grade work! And I start 10th grade on Sept. 2!

The school doesn't want to hold me back because they've seen my work, they know I'm smart and I can do it. They've said my grades were better than most of the kids attending the classes, and they want me to move up with my education.

I hate homework too...
I CONSTANTLY procrastinated last year, because for classes like Chem or Geometry, I would get some homework finished in class, but then have to lug giant textbooks home for a few problems. Wouldn't be an issue if I drove or had a parent pick me up, but it was a royal pain when I had to take the bus home and walk up our super long driveway (i live on a hill...). So I just said I would do it before classes started or during Band or whatever, and then forgot about it. Oops.

Luckily this year I'll be driving to and from school (hopefully!). I'm taking AP Chem, which is said to have 1-2 hours of homework each night, just for that class! The normal workload last year took me almost two hours.

And I've got a test on 50+ equations that I was supposed to memorize for AP Chem the first week of school... whee.

Sort of a random thought, but as I'm looking through my schedule, I only have one new teacher this year. As a sophomore all but two of my teachers were the same for freshman year. Sort of makes the new year less stressful.
