I'm thinking of downgrading Nov car rental-a ?

We were lucky, we got the $199 minivan offer from alamo this summer for our dates Nov 24 thru Dec 6. Taxes and all it is $459. Then 15 X 5 for parking at Universal and 16 X 3 for port parking--Total $582. Today I priced alamo from mousesav.... offer- 20% off visa holders and a free day and we can get a Pontiac G 6? (a mid size car) for $316 total. Do you think we can fit? I'll sit in the back with the kids, sister and DH can be in front. Our luggage will be 3 suitcases and 2 carryons and 3 backbacks. Not really planning in long distance driving, maybe one beach day. We plan on using the kiosh can I pick a four door??? TIA.

You won't be allowed to downgrade at the kiosk without paying the rate that day for the car you are selecting.

Three months ago prior to Alamo downsizing their car classes I would have said yes. You will get to choose from the midsize aisle so you should be okay but with smaller inventories and vehicles I'm not sure. Although not the favored option by some people on the board you could make two bookings, check the aisle and if there are no big enough midsizes take your minivan.
