Oops! I lied...we're not going to Fantasyland next!
After a spin in those giant teacups, it was time for us to get on the train to Frontierland. On the way, however, we stopped in to see some friends. First, we stopped at Minnies house. Minnies house is just so cute. One can easily discern that this house is not inhabited by a man! I know for sure that my husband would not be happy with all that pink and all those flowers! But I love it!
Oh, look! My SIL matches Minnies house!
Minnie had already decorated for Christmas
Do you think Mickey is taking Minnie on a date Sunday night? Or is she cooking for him? Or is he cooking for her? Hmmm
Next up was Mickeys house. A very manly place. It reminds me of my familys cottage in Wisconsin. The fish above the fireplace just adds that special touch. And is it just me or is it strange that Minnies stocking is at Mickeys house? Hmmm...
I just love this sign in Mickeys backyard. I need one of those for my dogs!
Look! A Mickey cactus. Just like Arizona! Except the cacti in AZ arent Mickey shaped. I wish they were!
I love it that it says the AUTObiography of Susie the Blue Coupe.
Time to head to the train! We had a connection to make in Frontierland! We got on the train in Toontown. This was my first time on the Magic Kingdom train. I loved it! Such a wonderful way to get around the park. We all had a little snack on the train because our lunch ADRs were not until 12:50. We were starting to get pretty hungry because our breakfast was pretty early.
We stopped at the front of the park. Heres a view of the outside of the park from the train. Look at all those people just coming in now! They obviously didnt know how wonderful rope drop is!
Our train arrived in Frontierland just on time. We were able to grab fastpasses for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and then we got in the stand by line. The posted time was 20 minutes, but I think it was more like 15 minutes. Here are my bro and SIL getting ready for a wild ride!
This ride was quite different from the Magic Kingdom train! I love BTMRR. Its another one that has me giggling from start to finish.
Are those dinosaur bones?!?
Next up was Pirates of the Caribbean, which was a walk-on.
I guess I wouldnt mind being up for auction if Johnny Depp was the one buying me!
This is my favorite part of POTC
A very blurry pic of Captain Jack Sparrow
It was about time for a bathroom break. DH and I engaged in a mean game of checkers while we waited for the rest of the group. I need to brush up on my checkers strategy because DH kicked my booty!
After our game of checkers, we checked out Haunted Mansion. The posted wait time was 50 minutes, so we decided to try again later.
It was about time to start heading over to Crystal Palace for Thanksgiving Dinner.
Next up: Our (one day late) Thanksgiving Dinner at Crystal Palace.
