Cool! I saw your pics and they look awesome. I'm computer art challenged...but, then again I don't have photoshop... I love what you did to your eyes in your siggy also! Very Creative!

It is actually much easier than it looks. all I did with that was took a picture (in color) then I copied it and put the copy over the original. Then I made the copy black and white. (thats how my face is black and white) then I erased where my eyes were, and the original pic showed through the copy where the eraser was. It is actually very simple.
I do reccomend photoshop, though. It is a great multi tasker.
