I'm stressing...

As usual before any vaction, I start stressing. Does anyone else act like this? or am I the only crazy one!

I am the one who packs for everyone else, and I haven't started yet. We are leaving tomorrow morning, stop south of Jasksonville for the night, then arrive at WDW on Monday morning.

I worry that I will forget stuff. DH says that I take all the fun out of going. I usually calm down 1hr into the road trip - by that point it doesn't matter what I forget - we'll just buy a new one.

This trip I am stressing over having enough(and the right) clothes. I know we will be doing laundry mid-week. I just want everyone to look their best. This is the 1st time we'll be there for a whole week - FTP at Ft.W cabins.

Then there is meals - what are we going to eat?when?how?

Okay, now that's off my chest, I'm feeling ?better? Well I'm off to finish the laundry and start a packing. (If I could just stay away from these boards - LOL)

Alright woman, start packing now! Get your list, and as you get things crossed off, you can return to the boards for a quick update.
Believe me, I feel your pain. My DH has learned to just pretend he's listening. He knows that I will get the whole thing together and that we will have a great trip. What they don't understand is that the stressing is part of the whole vacation experience! It wouldn't be any fun if it wasn't a challenge.
Don't stress over the clothes too much. We find that we tend to wash and rewear the same things anyway.
Make sure you stop at Trail's End for a meal or two. Good, cheap food!
You are far from crazy! You just know how to have a great vacation!!

Relax, sweetie. Go start packing, it's not going to take you as long as you think.

Everything is going to get done, honest. You will figure out the eating part when you get hungry and you can plan ps's on the drive down. So what if you have to take a second or third choice of restaurants?

The most important thing is that you need to have as much fun as possible and make some <b>magical</b> memories. Relax and let the magic find you. That really works

Don't ya love these guys! I have one of 'em too. He complains when I'm crazy packing but then for the first hour of the trip all of his sentances start like this: "Did you remember....." , "I hope you grabbed......" , & "Do we have the......" and I just sit there nodding (Because by this point I'm catatonic and cannot speak!)

Sounds like you've been through this before, as I have, and you know it always works out.

I am Laughing while reading this post. I guess there are others like me. When we crusied last year, I made sure I brought everything 11 suitcases/carry-ons. When we got to the Radisson another family we were traveling with said she had to go to the store to get some bobby pins, I said don't bother I have them, the funny part is neither my girls nor I use bobby pins (only have them to put their hair in a bun on recital day), but they were packed and ready to cruise with us. LOL

Enjoy yourself, but isn't great when you have everything.
