I'm starting to think I got lost in "on hold" space...

I called this morning @ 6:57 for PS for either CRT or PSB, it is now 7:48 a.m. & I'm still on hold. Is it possible to just get lost out there & never get your call taken??? If I'm on hold this long, I'm starting to think I won't get my PS. If I do, including my long distance charges, this is gonna be a very expensive breakfast. What's the longest you've been on hold???

Oh my, that is a very long time to be on-hold. I would think that your call "got lost". I am sorry.

I asked my daughter the same question, she works for a call center and she told me to hang up and call back, that calls do get lost in the system sometimes, I was on hold for almost that long on my cell phone, and when I called back I was helped immediately.

Okay, after 1 hour & 2 minutes, someone finally came on the line. CRT was booked but I did get PSB for 10:20 on 10/14, perfect time since we don't like to rush to much while down there. She was very nice & apologized for the long wait. To make it worse, the music playing was really messed up, very staticy & kept going in & out. I am glad that I'm Eastern Standard Time, I'd hate to have to get up & 4,5 or 6 a.m. to make a PS for CRT.

I am at the VWL right now, and was on hold from 7 am to 8 am this morning!!

Needed to beg for 1900 Park Fare breakast PS for this morning, and had success!! They had several openings available. Just laid in bed with speaker phone on till they picked up, lol. Family is happy now and all is well.. Off to breakfast!!

I also have PS's for PSB on 10/14 at 10:20am. I called at 8am & held til 8:20am & Jermaine told me they had one seating at 10:10 & one at 10:20...I said ok, give me 10:10 & he said "it's gone that fast!" so he hurried & got me the 10:20. I tried to call yesterday for 10/13 & it was sold out.

What a huge relief that I got it today. We actually weren't even interested in CRT, since dd5 really loves Jasmine, and she rarely, if ever, makes appearances at CRT. So far most of the posts I've read about PSB have said Jasmine was there.

I can start calling for our CRT PS in a little over a week. Ack! That is SO stressful! But when you do snag one it feels like you've won the lottery!!

I was on the same time as you. The "we are open call" went through at about 7:01 according to my clock and I finally was picked up at about 7:20am. We had 3 phones going. One land line which I held on, a cell phone which my DH held on, and another cell that I hung up a couple of times and redialed. Twice when I redialed, I got different music then was on the two held phones. That really confused me because I thought I had dialed the wrong number. I agree about the music fading and being staticy. We didn't get CRT but did get PSB at 8:30am on 10/14 and LTT for 4:30pm for dinner before MNSSHP. I'm not sure if we'll keep trying for CRT or not.

Does anyone know if there is a way to bypass putting in your own phone number to get to a real person faster? The last time I made PS was in August of 2003 and we didn't need to enter our number.

I experienced the same hold time on Thursday morning and I wasn't even calling for CRT! I started dialing at 6:59 and got through all the prompts by just after 7. I was on hold until 7:30, when I decided to give up. Since I was calling for Lunch with an Imagineer, I though I might give the Tour number a call. I only waited about 5 minutes on that line and the CM said that she would be happy to book it for me. I asked her about the wait on the Dine line and she told me that they had been experiencing extremely high call volumes for CRT. She was able to book the lunch for me and laughed when I told her that I was thankful my two DDs are too old for character breakfasts (they'd rather sleep).

DH is really starting to stress after I told him about the hold time. He said "Is it going to be that crowded when we go?" We usually go end of Sept -early Oct & crowds are low, but I'm worried now with Food & Wine @ EPC that it might be really crowded. I tried to book around the 1-1/2 teacher w'days DS gets in Oct. We've been once the end of Apr into May & it was really busy (& hot) - we said we'd never go back during a busy time. I told him that Princess B'fast are just really popular.

I forgot all about MSNNHP, has it sold out yet? I wonder of DH would want to do it. We did it in 99 when DS was 2 & I was preg. w/ DD. Hmmmmm... something else to put on my WDW budget.
